Kleptocracy
These are my notes and understanding of how kleptocracy works. In essence, as capital is highly mobile and can be shifted in the blink of an eye, it is very efficient in seeking out the most welcoming jurisdictions. While globalization has certainly helped millions, if not billions, of people out of poverty, left unchecked, kleptocracy within the globalized illicit finance can wreak havoc. I'm a volunteer data scientist at Tax Justice Network working with Miroslav Palansky.
